Kohl's Comments

Vargas recently competed at the 2022 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase Camp. He showed improved leg strength and increased command of his ball striking in both punts and kickoffs. He scored a big ball 61 yards with 3.56 seconds of hang time in the kickoff portion of camp. His big ball during the punting portion was a 44 yard 4.29 second punt. His drop was consistent and he showed college level leg strength at camp. Vargas attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He had some impressive hits at camp on all three disciplines and gave us glimpses of what he is capable of. He scored an 83 on punts, an 84 on kickoffs and made 8 points during the field goal charting phase of camp. Vargas can continue to refine his technique to be ready to compete at the next level.
