Kohl's Comments

Kays attended the Kohl's Winter Showcase camp and it was his first ranking event as well. He charted solely in punting and hit some solid punts in the charting and the drill work sessions throughout the day. His big ball during the charting was 38 yards with 3.95 seconds of hang time. Kays' focus should continue to be on the mechanics of his steps and drop as those are crucial for the success of a punt. Also, an offseason spent hitting the weight room hard will translate to easier distance and hang time on the field.
