    Kohl's Comments

Ahmann attended his first Kohl's ranking event at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp where he put together a great performance. He was able to score 20 points during the field goal charting and followed that with a big ball during the kickoff charting of 63 yards with 3.68 seconds of hang time. Ahmann has all of the tools to be a great collegiate kicker and as he finds a little more rhythm in his approach steps he will gain more consistency.

    Athlete Bio

In June, 2021, Nolan attended his first kicking camp, a Kohl’s Kicking training camp in Seattle. While there, he impressed the coaches with his “raw talent”, and earned an invite to Kohl’s National Invitational Scholarship Camp in Tennessee in July for both Kicking and Punting. In spite of an injury sustained in the 1st of 3 charting rounds that hindered his overall performance, Nolan was rated 4 1/2 out of 5 stars, and is the top rated Kohl's kicker in state of Oregon for his class. While there, he set a personal best field goal made from 56 yards. He did not compete in the punting portion of the Invitationall in an attempt to avoid further injury.

Nolan is a 4 year Varsity Letterman in football. After back to back “1st Team All League Kicker” seasons, Nolan’s senior season ended early as he attempted to fight through the lingering injury from Tennessee and was ultimately shut down for the rest of the year. In the 2 games in which he was able to compete this fall, he put up some impressive numbers. Of his 9 kickoffs, 5 were touchbacks, 2 were caught inside the 3 yard line, and the other 2 were onside kick attempts. He was perfect on his Extra Points, and has made 116 of 124 during his high school varsity career.

He also played at receiver, safety, and punter for the first time in high school, doing his best in spite of being injured, to help the team as they rebuild their football program. He was one of only 4 Seniors on the team made up primarily of Freshman and Sophomores.

Nolan has progressed nicely with physical therapy and is back to training kicks and punts with no pain. He truly impresses with his determination and perseverance through injury, as well as his calm composure in pressure situations on the field.
