Kohl's Comments

Van Pelt competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase, where he once again had a great showing. He finished the event with 6 field goals. Van Pelt achieved a 101.55 kickoff score, with his best ball traveling 64 yards and 3.94 seconds of hang time. Focused offseason work will be key in taking his abilities to the next level. Van Pelt also competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. It was his first ranking event and he showed poise and above average leg speed at the event. He flashed excellent ball striking skills and scored 18 points in the field goal charting. His overall score on kickoffs was 98.65 which includes a big ball of 65 yards with 3.80 seconds of hang time. He has the coordination and leg speed to develop into a great collegiate prospect.
