Kohl's Comments

Gillaspie had another strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed improvement in his ball striking on field goals and was once again strong with his punting. He scored 19 points in the combined field goal charts and had an overall score of 97.95 on his kickoff charts. He had several impressive punts at camp including a big ball of 47 yards with 4.48 seconds of hang time. Gillaspie competed in March 2023 at the Spring Ranking Event. He graded out at the 4.5-star level as punter by scoring 102.64 points in punting. His drill work was solid, and he showed an ability to hit punts that turn over. Gillaspie also graded out at the 4.0 star level as a kicker on the windy day. He scored 98.55 points on kick-offs and 5 points on field goals.
