Kohl's Comments

James recently competed at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He was excellent in all three disciplines at the event and is a sure combo prospect for the collegiate level. He scored 17 points in the field goal charting portion, was able to average a 103.48 on his three sessions for kickoffs and was able to chart some excellent punts, including many punts over 45 yards with 4.5+ seconds of hang time. He moved well in space and was easily able to chart points in the roll-out portion of punting at camp. James competed at the 2021 Texas Spring Showcase Camp. He has been able to chart several 60+ yard kickoffs. James can continue to focus on keeping the ball extended on his punt drop which will allow him to continue to make progress as a punter.
