Kohl's Comments

Cason showed continued improvement at the 2022 Winter Showcase from his last event in the summer. He charted 4 points in the field goal charting and demonstrated a solid base of technique. He hit several kickoffs over 60+ yards and scored a big ball of 94.2 total points, which was 64 yards with 3.02 seconds of hang time. He showed much improvement on kickoffs and continued focus on the small details like contact and body position will help him continue on his progression path. Cason recently competed at the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He flashed some solid ball striking at the event and was able to chart 10 points in the field goal sessions. His biggest charted kickoff at the event was a 61-yard 2.81-second ball. Continued emphasis on keeping the chest up on his ball/foot contact on kickoffs, should help him increase his hang time and distance on the ball.
