Kohl's Comments

Smithson had a good showing at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase Camp. He was improved with his command, and he showed increased command of his punting as well. He scored a big ball of 44 yards with 3.96 seconds of hang time and he charted several other 40+ yard punts. His largest kickoff at camp was 61 yards with 3.68 seconds of hang time. He also connected with 4 points during the field goal charting portion of camp. Smithson competed at the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Camp. He was solid in the drill work portion of camp on field goals, and he was able to chart one point in the charting. His kickoffs were consistent, and he charted a big ball of 62 yards with 3.46 seconds of hang time. ]
