    Kohl's Comments

Klingsberg competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2021 and had some very impressive moments. H made a 59 yard field goal during the charting phases of camp and showed good natural talent as a combo specialist. Klingsberg attended the 2021 Kohl's Future Stars event and he showed some great improvement from his summer performance. He had some strong kicks during the KO charts, finishing with 90 points, and a strong performance in the punt charting. Kilngsberg will benefit from an increase in his explosiveness through his kicks to help him maximize his size. Klingsberg's last camp was a June 2020 Showcase. He made 6 FG's and scored 88 points on the KO charts. Klingsberg also scored 87 points during the punt phase of camp. His future is bright if he puts in the time with kicking and punting!

    Athlete Bio

Kieran was a champion baseball, basketball & soccer player long before he ever set foot on a football field, but now this sport is absolutely his passion! He is a very talented & coachable Kohl's athlete who is dedicated to kicking & runningback positions. Kieran consistently attends training sessions and studies football videos, then heads to the field to apply what he's learned. He is a starting player for his very competitive Chelsea Discovery '04's Club Soccer team & a starting varsity player for Troy High School's soccer team. Kieran was a former little league baseball champion who went on to be a starting player for his Troy High School frosh-soph team as well as the Trojan Warriors travel team before deciding to focus on football & soccer. Kieran also started as both an offensive (including kicker) and defensive football player for his high school frosh-soph team his freshman year, and a varsity starter this past year on both as a sophomore. He will again be a varsity starter as Troy's kicker & runningback this coming football season, 2021-22. Despite distance learning due to COVID-19, Kieran maintains a 4.0 GPA in the business tract of the challenging & extremely academic Troy Tech program in Fullerton. He is a valuable leader who excels in celebrating the successes of his teammates, coaches & staff both on and off the field, which along with his natural athleticism is the reason he is often chosen as a team captain. Kieran loves old vintage trucks, and recently bought himself a 1968 Ford "Bump" Ranger, which he named "Gina". Yes, he is a fun kid with a great sense of humor! He continues to be an important asset to his teams in all sports, and is well-liked by both his coaches and teammates. He has been very grateful to the Kohl's staff for their assistance & guidance, and is looking forward to a fun & rewarding year ahead. Kieran's goal is to attend a strong academic & sports D1 or D2 University.
