Kohl's Comments

Abella recently attended the 2023 National Scholarship Camp and scored 24/36 points on field goals and 107.37 points on kick offs. At a Spring Showcase Event, he scored 11/15 points on his field goal chart. He also had a very consistent kickoff average of 108.35. He continues to improve his mechanics and is turning into a great kicker. Abella had a strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He charted several impressive kickoffs including a big ball of 72 yards with 3.70 seconds of hang time. His field goal striking was consistent and he scored 7 points at camp. He has excellent leg speed and he's beginning to become more confident with his ball/foot contact. Abella attended the 2022 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase Camp where he put together a strong display of consistency. He scored 13/15 points during the field goal charting and finished with a big ball during kickoffs of 64 yards with a hang time of 3.47 seconds. Abella showed he can compete with many top kickers and has a big next 6-9 months ahead of him!
