The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2021-2022 high school football season.
Kohl's CommentsBryson recently competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2021 and the UC Challenge in January of 2021. He scored 24 points on field goals and almost 110 points on his kick-off charts in July. Bryson has D1 talent as a field goal kicker. His improvement over the last year was noticeable in kicking and punting. We are excited to see how much he can improve before he begins college. He is a capable specialist and is able to do impressive things on the football field. Bryson should be a very recruitable player in the next 6 months!
I have played many different sports throughout the years, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and football. My main sports are football and lacrosse. I have played both at the varsity level since my freshman year in high school.
I have been playing football since I was 6 years old. I've been fortunate enough to play in many different positions, quarterback, running back, linebacker, and ultimately kicker. By knowing many different positions, it allowed me to learn the game inside and out. Playing football and being part of a team has helped me grow into the person I am today.
I push myself on and off the field. I attend football camps and competitions throughout the year and work 1-1 with kicking coaches and trainers to improve my skills. I am focused on getting bigger, faster, and stronger. Many of my coaches have told me I am a coachable player, countable, inspiring, a leader, and they enjoy having me as a part of their team. I am someone who will give my all every time I am on the field. I leave nothing behind and strive for success.
Academically I do the same. I work hard and always strive to do my very best, even during tough times. I know how important good grades are, and I take pride in everything I do. I don't shy from reaching out and asking for help when needed; my grades are my future. My unweighted GPA of 3.63, a weighted GPA of 4.3, and I am in the top 27th percent in my class. I am a high honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. I also know the importance of being a kid and enjoy getting involved with school activities outside of sports. I also love volunteering and helping others, especially in our current environment.
I have big dreams and have set the bar high. My goals are to attend a 4-year University. Currently, I am undecided on a major, but there are a few I am kicking around, no pun intended. I want to play football at the collegiate level and possibly kick for the NFL. It won’t be easy, but nothing worth wild in life is. I know that I would be a great fit for any college academically and athletically, and I hope I will be allowed to be considered to be a part of your team.
