Batres recently competed at the 2022 Texas Spring Showcase. He was able to hit some great field goals during the drill work and evaluation portion of camp and he scored 4 points in the charting portion. His kickoffs were solid for a younger athlete and he hit a big ball of 56 yards with 3.2 seconds of hang time. While attending the 2021 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase, Batres had some impressive moments throughout the camp. He showed some strong improvements during the field goal drill work and added in several 50+ yard kickoffs. Batres shows tremendous promise for a young athlete and will see his power improve as he continues to focus on strength training in the coming years.
