    Kohl's Comments

Maloney attended his first Kohl's ranking event in December of 2022. He averaged over 41-yards during the charting phase of camp and showed us that he has the leg talent required to be a dominant punter at the next level. Maloney has great natural ability and has a bright future ahead of him if he continues to work on the details required to play at the next level.

    Athlete Bio

My current goal is to play football at the collegiate level as a punter while earning a degree in business so I can pursue starting my own business someday. I am currently a 4.5 Star Ranked Punter in the class of 2024 from Kohl's Kicking. My father was a placekicker for the University of Notre Dame and my mother played D1 soccer for LMU so I know what it takes to play at the collegiate level. I have found a real passion for punting, I love how technical it is and I continue to work hard to find a way to maximize both my distance and hang time. I'm also a successful placekicker and converted many field goals and PATs for my high school team this past season. I have the leg strength to kickoff into the endzone and I'm pretty consistent on FG from 50 yds out. I am a team player that wants to be involved in all aspects of the football program and help my teammates succeed both on and off the field. I am dedicated to training for football and I also take my academics very seriously and have been on the Honor Roll every semester in High School. I am a hard worker and strive to get better anyway that I can. I lift weights and practice punting and kicking year round and also compete in national kicking camps to gain both skill and exposure. I am good with my time management and I know I would be a dedicated asset and teammate to a football program both as an athlete and a student.
