Hoyle attended his first competitive Kohl's camp in Texas at a 2022 Spring Ranking Event. He finished at the top of his class in the event on kickoffs for the combo athletes that both kick and punt. He finished with 4 kickoffs with 60+ yards of distance and an overall score of 97.55. He also graded out as a 4-star punter, with his biggest punt being a 50-yard 4.4-second ball, showing he has the tools to progress as a punter.
