Kohl's Comments

Kauppi competed at the 2023 National Scholarship Camp. He scored 98.23 points as a punter. At a May Showcase he scored 97.5 points on his punt charts. His drill work was better than his charts and his leg strength is at the college level. He is able to hit 45-55 yards punts and exhibits good upside as a 2024 punter. At Kohl's UC Challenge, his technique was sound, and he moved well once he caught the ball. He sets the ball well and was able to generate spirals consistently. His biggest charted punt was 48 yards with 4.29. Kauppi competed at the 2022 Texas Winter Showcase. He had tremendous drill-work at the event in his punting. His punting is still his strength, but he has made nice strides in his consistency of kickoffs as well. His biggest charted kickoff was 66 yards with 3.53 seconds of hang time and his biggest punt was 43 yards with 4.4 seconds of hang time.
