Kohl's Comments

Steele recently competed at the 2022 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase Camp. He showed marked improvement in both his leg strength and his ball striking from his last event. He was able to chart a big ball of 58 yards with 3.71 seconds of hang for his big kickoff at camp. He also scored 8 points in the charting portion of field goals and was able to demonstrate a smooth and repeatable swing during the drill-work portion of the camp. In punting, he showed improvement in his catch/mold and his drop. He was able to chart a big ball of 59 yards with 4.18 seconds of hang time. Steele competed at the 2020 Texas Winter Showcase. He was strong in his field goals by charting 6 points and he hit consistently in the drill work portion of camp. His big ball on kickoffs was 55 yards with 3.26 seconds of hang time. He was consistent with his approach to the ball and with continued improvement of his leg strength will develop into a very solid college prospect.
