McGuire had a strong performance during his first Kohl's ranking event at the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 10 points during the field goal charting, finished with 89.866 points for his average kickoff score throughout the camp and had multiple punts with over 4.2 seconds of hang time.
