    Mota competed at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He flashed leg strength throughout the event in both field goals and kickoffs and was able to score a three round average of 98.88. He scored 19 points in the field goal charting and was able to demonstrate a skilled, repeatable leg swing on his reps. Mota attended multiple Kohl's ranking events in the winter of 2020 and 2021. He showed great consistency at both events on field goals and kick offs. Mota has a smooth natural leg swing and with continued growth he will see some gains in his distance and hang time.

    Being a Kohl’s Coach for over ten years, the one thing I hear the most from athletes is talk of their star rating & ranking and what they want to achieve, especially during the Showcase season. But I wonder how many have thought about what it takes to achieve it and how to make it happen with their training? I am a big believer of setting high goals, laying out a detailed plan and doing everything in my power to try and achieve them.
