Kohl's Comments

Buchanan recently attended the Kohl's Winter Showcase as his first Kohl's ranking event. He charted as a pure punter and displayed strong technical skills with his technique. He hit several punts over 40+ yards and a big ball of 47 yards with 4.00 seconds of hang time. Working to create more leg speed will help improve hang time, which is crucial at the next level for coverage and continuing to work on his hands will help his overall operation. He did even better at the Senior Challenge in January of 2023 by scoring 92.76 points in the charting session. He graded out at the 4.0 star level as a punter at this event.
