    Kohl's Comments

Smoot recently attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He made 15 points during the field goal charting phase of camp and hit an impressive 70-yard 3.48 second hang time kickoff. Smoot attended the 2021 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase. He showed smooth mechanics during the field goal drill work, finished with an average kickoff score of 104.30 points and added in several punts over 40+ yards. Smoot has great explosiveness but he must learn to harness this in order to create a more controlled approach.

    Athlete Bio

A 5'11 170 pound kicker, punter and wide receiver for 6A Washburn Rural High School located in Topeka, Kansas. I am a two sport athlete, baseball and football and have played varsity for both sports since my sophomore year.

I am an active member of Nurtirition Club, Circle of Friends and Young Life. I also volunteer for the Special Olympics. My plan following graduation would be to obtain a degree in Exercise Science and then purse a career in Physical or Occupational Therapy.

My favorite childhood quote would be "Never Let the Fear of Striking out keep you from Playing the Game" Babe Ruth.
