Cummins competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2021. He had an impressive overall camp and was able to have a near perfect charting session on field goals by not missing from 52-yards and in. He also showed next level leg strength with a 71-yard hit with 3.57 seconds of hang time. Cummins attended the 2021 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase Camp. It was his first ranking event and he had strong showing by charting 8 points on field goals and by having a strong drill work portion of camp.
