    Ruiz competed at the 2022 Kohl's National Senior Challenge. He competed in all three disciplines and flashed some excellent talent and potential. He scored 4 points in the field goal charting and was able to hit a big ball of 60 yards with 3.11 seconds of hang time. His big punt during the punting portion of camp was 43 yards with 4.00 seconds of hang time.
