Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2022-2023 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Nelson put together a solid showing during the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 9 points during the field goal charting sessions and finished with an average score during his kickoffs of 85.0833 points. Nelson has made strong improvements from his last camp performance and looks to be on a good path of steady progression. Nelson competed at the Kohl's Southern Showcase in May of 2022. He made 6 field goals during the charting phase of camp and also hit multiple 60-yard kickoffs. Nelson has good ball striking skills and with natural athletic growth over the upcoming year he will be ready to compete at the next level.Academics
