Roney competed at the 2022 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He made 6 out of 10 during the field goal charting and hit multiple 61-yard kickoffs. Roney showed good improvement since we last saw him in December. Roney attended his first Kohl’s ranking event at the Winter Showcase in December of 2021. His "A" ball on kickoffs was impressive with a 56-yard, 3.46 second hang time hit. Roney showed good leg strength and with continued refinement to his technique he will do some good things over the upcoming years.
