Kohl's Comments

Checkly had another strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He has a great frame, and he turns over footballs easily. He charted some impressive punts at camp and flashed excellent potential throughout the three charting sessions. His overall score on punts was 93.83 and his biggest charted punt was 49 yards with 4.12 seconds of hang time. Checkley had a strong showing at the 2023 UC Challenge. He has powerful hips and creates great leg speed up and through contact. He has solid fundamentals with his drop and contact and with continued emphasis on keeping the ball extended on his drop, he should continue to make improvements. His biggest charted punt at camp was 52 yards with 4.67 seconds of hang time.
