    Kohl's Comments

Patrick recently attended the 2021 Kohl's Winter Showcase Event and had some solid hits at camp. He has a solid foundation as a specialist and as he grows athletically he will be a good 2023 college prospect. Petrick competed at the 2020 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed solid leg strength for his age and was repeatable with his swing and contact. He scored 13 points in the field goal charting and had a big ball on kickoffs of 47 yards with 2.91 seconds of hang time. Increased power and leg speed will help him create the same level of confidence in his kickoffs as he currently has on his field goals. Petrick competed at the 2019 Western Winter Showcase. He showed a smooth approach and consistent ball striking on his field goal attempts.

Being a Kohl’s Coach for over ten years, the one thing I hear the most from athletes is talk of their star rating & ranking and what they want to achieve, especially during the Showcase season. But I wonder how many have thought about what it takes to achieve it and how to make it happen with their training? I am a big believer of setting high goals, laying out a detailed plan and doing everything in my power to try and achieve them.
